  • What is a standardized measurement?
  • Why is a standardized system of measurement
    important in science?
  • A standardized measurement is a measurement that
more than one person can use to report findings.
It is a measurement that is common to a whole
    social group.
  • A standardized system of measurement is important
in science because scientists must communicate
their findings. If the findings are in
    non-standardized measurements other scientists
might get different results than the reporter.
