Cambridge Flag
  • It is the first true U.S. Flag. It combines the
    British Flag concept and the thirteen stripes
    signifying Colonial unity.

Betsy Ross Flag
  • Mrs. Betsy Ross made the first Stars and Stripes
    in June 1776. She made the flag at the request
    of President George Washington. The first
    President of the United States.

The Confederate Battle Flag
  • The flag's stars represented the widely
    recognized symbol of the South. It is also called
    the "rebel" or "Dixie" flag.

Alabamas Flag
  • This flag became Alabamas Flag in 1895. The
    designers wanted the flag to have a big red cross
    on it to resemble the Confederate Battle Flag.

The Stars and Stripes Flag of the United States
The flag has stars and stripes flag has changed
its look some 26 times for various reasons.
Earlier there were 48 stars in the flag and that
version continued for 47 years . After that the
flag was changed. Now there are 50 stars in the
USA flag.

  • The Liberian Flag
  • The Liberian flag has similar red and white
    stripes, though only 11 of them, as well as a
    blue square for the union, but with only a single
    large white star.

The Malaysian Flag The flag of Malaysia also has
a striking resemblance, with red and white
stripes (14 total), and a blue canton, but
displaying instead of stars a star and crescent
emblem.
