  decision in 28th November 2007

• From 1999 the Hungarian Government supported
  240.000 applications in its long term energy
  efficiency program.
• From 1991 the total costs of the all the energy
  efficiency programs subsidies 160 million Euros
  this ment 17-18 PJ/year saving
• The EU aims 1/year it means 6,38 PJ/year
  energy saving in Hungary

• 1./ The total costs is about 9.18-11.48 billion
  Euros for the realization of the 1 energy saving
  targets between 2008-2016.
• 2./ The need for support from the state 300-360
  million Euros/year ( total for 9 years 2.76-3.44
  billion Euros)
• 3./ Now we have only 166 million Euros for
  supporting these targets in the New Hungary
  National Development Plan, Environment and
  Energy Operation Program.
