• A situation recently arose where fire
  extinguishing agent was not supplied to the
  required quality standards, with potentially
  severe implications for flight safety.

Task Specification

• A worldwide review of current processes
  associated with the approval for media associated
  with the extinguishment/suppression of fire on
  aircraft is required.
• Areas of potential improvement should be
  identified from the point of view of increasing
  product quality assurance but also for minimising
  regulatory burden. The deliverable is to be a
  report at the conclusion of the work.
