Landuse Description
Lake A large body of surface water.
Wetland and Sabkha A shallow area of water, often of seasonal variation in depth, and often associated with hydrophilic plants (marsh grasses).
Canal Man made canals transferring water.
Drain Man made drainage canal that receives water from the collector canals and carries it to an outlet.
Fish Farm A body of surface water that is used as a fish farm.
Salt Flat (Salinas) Basins of surface salt water that is dried.
