  • Did you choose to obey God or your sinful self.

  • The Angels were created perfectly
  • There was no sin at the end of Creation on the
    7th day
  • The Serpent was the most beautiful of all the
    Creation

Lucifer was created
  • Ezekiel 2811-19
  • Isaiah 1412-15
  • Lucifer must have been self-deceived that God was
    also a created being.

It is always dangerous to alter God's Word
  • You shall not add to the word that I command you,
    nor take from it, that you may keep the
    commandments of the Lord your God that I command
    you. Deuteronomy 42 ESV
  • . . . if anyone adds to them, God will add to him
    the plagues described in this book, and if anyone
    takes away from the words of the book of this
    prophecy, God will take away his share in the

  • Good for food
  • Pleasant to the eyes
  • Desired to make wise

Adam was not deceived
  • Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived
    and became a transgressor. 1 Timothy 214 ESV
  • Shame instead of Fame, Embarrassment instead of
    Exhilaration
  • Became aware of their nakedness

Sweet fellowship with God was cut off.
  • Shame also brought hope of salvation
  • No shame or guilt - No felt need for salvation
  • Acutely conscious of being naked before God

  • When confronted, he blamed Eve
  • Eve blamed the serpent
  • Neither was willing to acknowledge personal guilt
  • Adam by implication blamed God

  • God's questions were not for information but to
    encourage repentance.
  • Only recourse--Punishment that is both corrective
    and redemptive

  • Desire to her husband-dominate
  • Her husband would rule over her
