Sexual Harassment
  • The courts have recognized two types of sexual
    harassment quid pro quo and hostile work
    environment sexual harassment.
  • Quid Pro Quo sexual harassment is defined as an
    implicit or explicit threat if one does not
    accede to a sexual demand it will have a negative
    consequence, either in the sense of a loss of
    employment or loss of promotion or an unfavorable
    evaluation.

  • The courts have recognized two types of sexual
    harassment quid pro quo and hostile work
    environment sexual harassment.
  • Hostile work environment sexual harassment occurs
    when an employer or a fellow employee harasses
    another employee because if his or her gender or
    sexual preference to the extent to which the
    working environment becomes hostile or
    abusive.
