  • SSEC Desktop Ingestor (SDI) for GOES-8 collects
    the transmitted stretch signal. It is user
    configurable to other GOES satellites, through

  • The Product Generation (PG) Workstation runs
    science algorithms to generate products for
    distribution to RAMSDIS workstations in all
    countries. These tasks are automated.
  • Pulls data from GOES and POES servers
