• This project is made by Kamran and William. It
  will be on James I (VI) when the Tudors ended and
  the Stuarts began

King James I

• Come with us and see the report of King James I.
  He reigned from 1603-1625. He was also clumsy and
  he drooled!!!

• The Gunpowder plot

• It all started when King James I ruled England.
  He was catholic so they expected him to turn
  England catholic. He didnt. So they tried to
  blow him up. It failed so they tried them for
  treason. They were then executed.

• His other name is Guido or John Johnson. There is
  a rhyme to go with the plot and it goes something
  like this
• Remember, remember the 5th of November
  gunpowder treason and plot,
• We see no reason why gunpowder treason should
  ever be forgot!

• He was hung, drawn and quartered in 1606.

• James also liked books.
• He even wrote a book called Counterblast to
  tobacco
• A counter blast is a fierce reply.
• It means dont smoke.

• Theres a college attached to Oxford university
  and on top of the main doors is a statue of James.

  was a shy man who wanted everything to go his
  way.
