Landforms
There are two major landforms in the Canadian
Shield, a rocky surface of mostly igneous rock
and lots of coniferous forests The highest
elevation is only 500m above sea level. This
region has rocky surfaces because millions of
years ago there were mountains in the
sub-region.The mountains eroded into hard even
land after years of water, freeze thaw and
