PURPOSE AND BACKGROUND
  • To train physicians to address emerging
    bioethical issues
  • To respond to the public awareness about
    patients rights and human rights in general
  • To accomplish above objects we need to train
    medical graduates and PGs in the field of
    bioethics
  • To develop appropriate curriculum for graduate
    and postgraduate studies
  • To ascertain Base-line knowledge of Bioethics

METHODOLOGY
  • 15 item questionnaire was developed
  • Administered on 74 PGs of various departments of
    LUMHS.
  • Obs/Gynae, Int. Medicine, Paed. Medicine, G.
    Surgery, Radiology, Anaesthesiology.
