Governance Audit Charter

• Oversee the operations of SEAs membership
  structure recommend new members issue written
  policies and guidelines regarding membership
  participation
• Oversee the operation of SEAs board review
  adherence to bylaws and policies make
  recommendations to the board
• Ensure the integrity of SEA financial operations
  and make recommendations to SEA board
• Ensure the annual review of SEA financial records
  and procedures
• Oversee SEA accounting procedures and make
  recommendations to SEA board

Outreach Charter

• Committee Purpose
• Develops plans and oversees the national
  outreach program.
• Scope
• Outreach includes activities from Executive
  Briefing through Leadership Workshop and then
  through engagement to completion.
• Outreach Group participation continues until
  outreach activities are discontinued or complete.
• Key Tasks
• 1. Develop outreach plans for each SEA-targeted
  state
• 2. Develop plans for mobilizing internal company
  resources such as buyers and supplier development
• 3. Brief buyers and gain internal support for SEA
  outreach
• 4. Assist in the startup of state activities for
  those states where participation has been planned
• 5. Monitor progress of outreach plans and
  implement corrective action

Legislative Charter

• Facilitate appropriate meetings for SEA
• Advise on appropriate actions needed to
  facilitate funding support for SEA
• Encourage collaboration between SEA and key
  legislative and agency personnel
• Make regular reports to the SEA board

Public Relations Communications Charter

• Collaborate on industry communications designed
  to increase SEA visibility
• Design and conduct internal SEA education
  campaigns to educate target audiences within each
  company
• Make regular reports to the SEA board and
  recommend actions to enhance SEAs industry
  visibility

Supply Chain Practices Charter

• Develop industry recommendations to accelerate
  the lean transformation of the industry
• Educate and engage internal supply chain
  professionals on SEA and its industry-wide
  initiative
• Support supplier outreach activities in targeted
  SEA states

Supplier Advisory Council Charter

• Purpose
• Ensure that SEA is guided by continuous feedback
  from suppliers participating in the SEA
  conversion
• Role of the Advisory Council
• Suppliers on the Advisory Council must be
  engaged in the SEA conversion. SAC members advise
  the SEA board and membership on the impact of
  strategic directions for SEA. Of particular
  interest are feedback about supply chain
  strategy, supplier outreach, and overall program
  sustainability
