  • PLWHA 5300 persons
  • 12 of HIV cases are YP (15- 24).
  • Modes of transmission
  • - 60 heterosexual sex.
  • 27 from male with male sex.
  • 6 blood and blood products.
  • 2.2 intravenous drug use.
  • 1 mother to-child transmission.
  • The ratio of HIV infection is 4 males for every
    female.
  • Prevalence rate (0.007 and 0.02.).

Networking
  • The Y-PEER network now constitutes of 32 NGOs.
  • Y-PEER Egypt now has trained more than 500
    activists in order to be peer educators from 10
    governorates.

    Children ), NAP, NCCM, Coptic Church, Mansoura
