At the beginning of the book the mom and the
dad of Maniac, died by a PW high-speed trolley
crashed.

Maniac was only a little kid when they died. He
had to go live with his aunt and uncle.

But there was a problem. His aunt and uncle
never talked to each other. They never shared
anything he called the house the house of the two
toasters.

One day he ran away from his uncle and aunt
because they did not talk to each other and he
couldn't stand that.

One day Amanda Beale was running to school.
Then Maniac ran after her and asked if she was
running away too. She said no Im going to
school.

Maniac asked her what is in the suitcase she
said my books. He liked reading. He wanted one
really bad he begged her. And she said ok.

He did a lot of things. He kicked a football
better than Hands Down. He made Mc Nabs strike
out go down the drain. He also saved Arnold from
Finsterwalds back yard.

That is how he got his name he did all those
things. They started to call him Maniac.

He met lots of families like the Beales, the
Mc Nabs and Grayson but he didnt want to stay
with the Beales because people did stuff to them
instead of Maniac.

He didnt like the Mc Nabs because there were
not even a family! The boys hated black people
and they said that they are going to kill them.

The only person he liked was Grayson. He was
nice to him he bought him stuff and did lots of
things together. If you want to now what happens
you should read this book!
