- Train (discipline) a child in the way he should
go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.
(Prov. 226) - Is this controversial? How do you react to
Proverbs 1324 - He who spares the rod hates his son, but he who
loves him is careful to discipline him.

- Loving Discipline (not uncontrolled anger) is
simply accepting a childs real nature. - Children go wrong! (so do parents). WE ALL need
correction. - Its NOT loving to ignore this need.

- Punishment should not just fit the crime it
should fit the child. Be compassionate. Know
