Commissioning Plan
  • CFT arrives DAB mid-June, install and survey
    (Gaston)
  • Cryostat install and hookup through mid June,
    testing cooldown followed by cassette insertion,
    end of June (Russ)
  • As waveguides hooked up (CPS, 8, 7, etc.),
    testing is needed
  • Current plan
  • 2 people/crew, 2 crews/shift, 2 shifts/day, 2
    LG/crew/shift
  • 8 lightguides/day. (300 CFT light guides ? 8
    weeks)
  • Initial test, LED pulsers on the ribbons,
    secondary electrical.
  • Verify light continuity.
  • Verify photoelectron noise consistent with
    temperature and voltage
  • Electrical noise.
