Abstract
  • Our group proposes to build a better audio
    system.

Fiber Optic Cable
  • Plastic fiber optic cable is inexpensive.
  • Works well for short distance applications.

  • Preliminary experiments have been done with 880,
    660, and 530 nm LEDs.
  • All work well with very short distance plastic
    fiber.

  • IF-D95 detector failed to track above 400kHz.
  • Need a CD player with a digital output to
    continue testing (on order).
