  • The four Presidents faces carved in it
    represents all Americans.
  • They also represent courage, dreams, freedom, and
    greatness.
  • Each President had great possessed skills.
  • When Americans look into the faces of our
    Presidents we gain inspiration.
  • Mount Rushmore is a National Park.

Mt. Rushmores Hours
  • Mt. Rushmore is closed in the winter.
  • In the spring and fall the hours vary.
  • In the summer Mt. Rushmore is open from 800a.m.
    to 1000p.m.
  • The admission is 5 to Park and 8 to get in and
    see the wall.

  • The bell cracked again while being rung at the
    funeral of John Marshall
  • John Marshall was the 4th Chief Justice of the
    Supreme Court and he was one of the singers of
    the Declaration of Independence

  • Across the top of the bell there is an
    inscription
  • It is a quote from the Old Testament.
  • PROCLIAM LIBERTY THROUGHOUT ALL THE LAND UNTO
    ALL THE INHABITANTS THEREOF LEV. XXV X.
  • Under that it reads, BY ORDER OF THE ASSEMBLY OF
    THE PROVINCE OF PENSYLVANIA FOR THE STATE AND
    HOUSE IN PHILADA.
  • Lower on the bell are the inscriptions, PASS AND
    STOW,
