Why Exceptions?

  • P.O. Box is provided
  • Does not have a physical address
  • Submitter does not know physical address and uses
    P.O. box
  • Started using Data Management Center
  • From a few minutes to several days to issue number

  • Complex to register certain premises
  • Sheep continued to graze in old grain fields,
    fallow land, and harvested melon fields in Fresno
    County. Recent NASS Livestock Report
  • Data only flows one direction - from CPRS to
    National Repository
  • Premises numbers being issued via
  • EMRS (FADs emergencies)
  • Public land conversion?
  • Systems dont collect same information as CPRS
