Ski Clothing
  • The mountains are an unpredictable environment
    and you should dress appropriately.
  • The key to being comfortable is in the layers
    that you wear.
  • 1st layer thermal layer, close to the skin and
close fitting designed to wick away sweat and
    still keep you warm.
  • 2nd layer middle layer designed primarily for
warmth. You can have a couple of thin middle
layers or just have one thicker one.
  • 3rd layer outer layer designed for protection
from the elements, wind, snow and the cold.
  • It is also paramount that a hat is worn, as most
of the bodies heat is lost via the head.
  • It is recommended you wear socks designed for
skiing it will help with your comfort levels.
Gloves and eye wear are also vital. As is sun
    cream.

12
Important Info
  • You will make lots of friendships on the holiday,
new and old but your best friend for the week
    will be your lift pass.
  • Without it you do not ski and more importantly
you will annoy your instructor, group and staff
    so do not forget it.
  • Remember your gloves, hat and sun cream
altitude has an intensifying affect on the suns
rays and temperature decreases the higher you go.
  • Any spending money (no more than 100) will be
kept by staff in the centres safe and there will
be regular banking sessions. Monies will need to
