- With the implementation of AxiUm, our
digital clinical information system, we began
building a prescription database in Jan. 2004.
To date, the database contains approximately 120
drugs (OTC and prescribed) with a variety of
dosages and routes of available administration.
The medication, dosage and frequency is selected
from a drop down menu and the entry is
automatically entered in the paperless therapy
notes. -
- Printed Rxs (from AxiUm) will be available
in the near future, with the exception of
Schedule II drugs that MUST BE written on the
USCSD Security Rx pads. - In the near future, it will be acceptable,
to print out Schedule III-V drugs from Axium,
but they must be faxed into the pharmacy by the
provider. - NOTE
- ALL PRESCRIPTIONS MUST BE ENTERED INTO THE
PATIENTS AXIUM CHART TO ENSURE PROPER AND
ACCURATE DATA COLLECTION AND DOCUMENTATION.
