EXAM CONVENTIONS
  • To pass the exam as a whole you need
  • Passes in course units totalling 100 credits
    pass mark is 40
  • An aggregate of 480 to compensate for the failed
    course units
  • A minimum of 30 in any failed unit.

In addition to passing exam as a whole
  • Accounting and or Finance Students must pass core
    units
  • Economics students must pass course or area
    prerequisites.

Second Year Marks Count Towards Final Degree
Classification
  • The average mark is weighted as 14 of the final
    degree classification
  • Based on your first attempt!!

Resits in August
  • 24th Aug. 4th Sept.
  • Keep this period free

After ResitsStudents who have not passed the
year as a whole
  • Ordinary Degree
  • Average 40 in best 100 credits
  • Pass 60 credits
  • At least 30 in the remainder
  • Resit for honours
  • Pass 100 or 110 credits
  • Exclusion
