• Consolidate UK bank accounts for ease of
  management and inform any institutions with whom
  you have continuing direct debits of the change
• Ensure you have a UK Will if you intend on
  leaving assets in the UK
• Contact a foreign exchange broker and set up an
  account for trading your currency when the rate
  is favourable
• Set up an Australian bank account for the receipt
  of these funds
• Submit P85 P50 forms to HMRC just before
  leaving.
