Summer 2007 Student Comments
  • BEST ASPECTS OF GROUP ADVISING
  • Kelly was very informal, and excited to be there
to help us, along with her helper Ashley. Kelly
knowing her job and enjoying being able to help
was such a blessing to me. I really enjoyed
advising, and got a lot of questions answered
  • Altrice was able to answer easy questions that
would have taken a good deal of time to find on
the web site. She also provided a good deal of
    other introductory information.
  • helps you meet new people
  • it was a small group and they got to help
    everybody out
  • The best aspects of group advising is the fact
you feel less pressured about asking questions
  • Knowing what to do for your first semester in a
    new college.
  • The group advising gets you comfortable with
    college life
  • Allows us to brainstorm as a team.
  • Nicole is so knowledgeable and helpful. She takes
her time to be sure everyone understands
completely. She obviously has a passion for the
    educational process.
  • Questions that you may not think of other may
have and ask, a very beneficial aspect to a
    group.
  • It goes very smoothly and it's time efficient

21
Summer 2007 Student Comments
  • IMPROVEMENTS TO GROUP ADVISING
  • I just need a little more information, more of a
    one-on-one discussion.
  • For long distance commuting students, a better
    meeting time would be beneficial.
  • spend a little more time on the payment and such
    aspect of the college
  • Having less people in the advising session to
have more 1 on 1 time.
  • OTHER COMMENTS
  • This was a very good meeting which i gained alot
    more understanding how everything works.
    Thanks!!!!
  • If everyone is as easy to deal with as Nicole my
college experience will be great one! Please
    thank her for me.
  • Ms. Altrice really helped and explained a lot of
things that my advisors at a four year college
    did not explain to me.
