JPEG created)
7Accomplishments Continuation of Task Order L-24
- NODC and NOAA Library
- Created prototype web page for product
distribution - Drafted FGDC metadata records for the 3
collections - Completed image QA for 9K Beach Watch and all
Kelp slides - Archived Beach Watch and Kelp images (NODC
Accession 2428 and 2429) - Completed MARC21 records for Beach Watch and Kelp

8Scope of Work for FY2007 Continuation of Task
Order L-24
- Originators will ship remaining slides and log
sheets to the contractor (Beach Watch 60K
slides and 3K log sheets Common Murre
Restoration 5K slides) - Contractor will scan slides and create TIFF and
JPEG images - Contractor will scan slide log sheets and create
TIFF images - Contractor to create CD-R/DVD-R (one copy for
originator and one copy for NODC)
9Scope of Work for FY2007 Continuation of Task
Order L-24
- NODC and originators to QA images
- NODC and Library will complete FGDC and MARC21
metadata for all 3 slide collections - NODC will archive images, log sheets, and FGDC
metadata - Archived images will be available through links
