Sideline Safety Rule
  • New FHSAA Football Rule for 2006
  • Require that schools/fields place a broken
    restraining line 2-yards outside the sideline
    all the way around the field
  • Including in front of the team bench areas
  • This is an extension of the current rule

  • This unsportsmanlike foul is charged to the head
    coach, unless offender can be specifically
    identified
  • Two unsportsmanlike fouls charged to a coach will
    result in the ejection of the coach
  • Referee must report the incident to the FHSAA
    using USL conduct form
