  evolution, economic development, and social
  change in contrast to evolutionary and economic
  theories that focus on scarcity, competition and
  struggle.
• Bios is creative (causal but not conservative)
  including constructive and destructive phasesin
  contrast to notions of development as progress,
  equilibrium, or decay towards disorder.
