  • NetJets Inc. (formerly Executive Jet, Inc.) was
    founded in 1964 as the first private business jet
    charter and aircraft management company in the
    world.
  • The NetJets program was created in 1986 by
    Richard Santulli, the Chairman and CEO of NetJets
    Inc. as the world's first fractional aircraft
    ownership program.
  • The NetJets Europe Programme was launched in
    1996.
  • In 1998, after being a satisfied NetJets customer
    for three years, Warren Buffett, Chairman CEO
    of the Berkshire Hathaway company acquired
    NetJets Inc.
  • NetJets Europe Operational HQ in Lisbon, Sales
    Marketing HQ in London, Contracts in Rotkreuz

Concept
  • With NetJets fractional aircraft ownership,
    owners may purchase a share of an aircraft, but
    retain most of the advantages of owning their own
    aircraft
  • Fractional owners are guaranteed their aircraft
    type or better with 10 hrs notice
  • Owners may interchange between 14 different jet
    types and access thousands of airports worldwide
  • If fewer flight hours are needed, customers can
    still fly with NetJets with a Private Jet Card
    (25 hrs must be used within 12 months) or the
    Corporate Jet Card (25 hrs can be used within 24
    months)
