Challenges We Had

• Underwriting the cost of the infrastructure on a
  monthly basis
• Inserting Commercial use of excess bandwidth
• DS3 and OC3 circuits were Point to Point
• Had to be terminated on private network demarks
  which did not allow public access commercial use
• Last Mile connections

What we have Learned

• Use traditional Internet circuit to local cloud,
  Not Point to Point circuits
• Use MPLS VPNs / V-LAN's (V-LAN Tagging) to
  create tunnels
• Allows for local use of Internet as well as
  connecting remote points
• Use Wireless Point to Point Last Mile
  circuits under a Hub and Spoke arrangement
• Use Mesh Networked Nodes to join building in
  close proximity
