How does it help the retailer?
Improved Design Lumens
  • New installations / remodeling
  • Energy savings up to 44
  • Lower initial costs by using fewer fixtures
  • Upgrade existing CDM to CDM Elite
  • Higher light level in store (ambient)
  • More focus on merchandise (more accent)
  • Dimensions, LCL and base are same
  • as existing CDM T6 G12 and T4 G8.5
  • Easily adapted into current CDM fixture
    specification

Dimming of CDM (Elite) for retail applications
  • Dimming of CDM lamps is not recommended since
this may lead to significant deterioration of
    lamp performance
  • Change in color towards blue/green
  • Fast lumen depreciation due to severe blackening
of burneras the electrodes are operated in a
too cold condition causingexcessive loss of
electrode material during the dimmed operation
  • Life may be shortened since accelerated electrode
wear increaseselectrode distance leading to a
    rise in the lamp voltage
  • High re-ignition peaks may lead to occasional
    extinguishing of dimmed lamps
