During the past half century, Seoul has achieved
remarkable growth, and Become a political as well
as economical center of Northeastern Asia.
However, we had to pay too much We could see
a clean blue sky in 13 days only through a
year. What happened?

Air Pollution
  • PM10(Particulate Matter Less than 10?) in Seoul
    recorded 58ug/m3 in 2005(double of Tokyo).
  • The average of life span of the citizen of Seoul
    is 3-years shorter than Tokyo due to air
    pollution.
  • No. of car in Seoul recorded 2.86mil in 2006
    that had been increased 6 times than
    1985(0.45mil.)

  • Global warming and heat island effect lead to an

Climate Change Deforestation in Asia
  • Asian forest has been degraded from 20th century
    except some countries, as like Japan, China, and
    South Korea. Left top shows a bare mountain in
    North Korea, left down shows tropical forest
    degradation in Papua, and light explains a way of
    desertification in China Mongolia

  • CCGN Korea was born in June 29, 2008. It aims to
    mitigate the global climate change through forest
    activities and to share Koreas reforestation
    know-how to ASIAN.
