The job objective provides a focus for your
resume.
  • 1 or 2 sentences
  • Be short and to the point
  • Avoid wordiness
  • Avoid job titles.
  • It is best to use broad categories of jobs rather
    than specific titles.

Clearly state what sort of a job you want
  • Job objectives should be stated as verb
    phrases
  • rather than sentences.
  • Carefully selected verbs will make you
    sound confident
  • Omit "I-centered" or obvious statements.
  • Such as "where I can learn" or "which will
