ENDLESSLY FLOWING
A sound Just a sound at first A sudden
rumble Then splashes And swishes Streaming down
the mountains Running through vales Over hills,
planes and fields Into the welcoming Blue
expanse

FLUSSO     Un rumore Allinizio soltanto un
rumore Allimprovviso un rombo Poi uno scroscio E
infine uno sciabordio Dai monti Attraverso valli
Colline, pianure e campi Fino ad arrivare Ad
un immensa distesa blu.

OCEAN
It is not the last wave with its white and wide
strip. That breathes on the coasts and gives life
to the strands peace that envelops the
world. Its the central volume of the
strength, The extended power of waters, the lewd
loneliness overcrowded with lives. Time, maybe,
or full goblet of every movement, pure unity, not
sealed up by death, green bowels of a burning
totality.

OCEANO    Non è lultima onda col suo peso
solino Quella che frange le coste e genera La
pace darenile che contorna il mondo è il
centrale volume della forza, la potenza distesa
delle acque, limmonda solitudine affollata di
vite. Tempo, forse, o calice colmo Dogni
movimento, unità pura Non sigillata dalla morte,
verdi viscere Della totalità bruciante.

A DROP FOR AFRICA
Once upon a time the sea decided to let off,
because it was fed up with staying always in the
same place
So it changed into a cloud, which began to
travel all over the world
18
Its journey brought it also to Africa, where
there was not enough water for the population
19
The cloud decided to make them happy. After many
years it was raining again!
20
The children thanked the cloud and it plunged
into the sea again!

MARINE WASSER

A FLY WHO SAVED THE RIVER
Imagine a land of dark forests with towering
pine trees and hills of granite exposed to
frequent spring rains and winter snow. A thousand
years ago, the first inhabitants settled around
the tributaries of the main river and its lakes
of pure glacial waters. Many, many years ago,
when the world was still young, a mystical river
flowed there. Its waters were so pure and
refreshing that all the animals went there to
drink. One day a giant moose heard the other
animals speaking of the river, and he decided to
drink that pure water. Unfortunately he was so
big and he drank so much that the water level
began to drop. So all the animals got together to
find a way to make the giant moose leave the
river. A fly came buzzing around their gathering.
In a little voice, she said If you want I can
scare the giant moose. All the animals began to
jeer and make fun of the little fly. How could
this, tiny creature frighten such a huge moose?
The next morning the fly carried out her plan
she began to circle around the moose and bit his
head. This drove the moose crazy he couldnt get
rid of the cursed fly! So knocking down trees the
moose bounded away and he was never seen
again. Then the fly said to the other animals
You see, even the weak can beat the strong by
using their heads! And thats why theres always
water in the river. Thats also why there are
always flies circling around a river. Written

ANNY THE DROP
In the main stream of the Colorado River there
was a drop, called Anny. Her life had always
been adventurous she had fallen down from the
hot springs she knew the waters of the biggest
lakes where she had had to leave her relatives
and her friends. At that time her aspect was
different she had got a pink tinge from the
Canyon.
27
One day, while she was swimming in the stream,
she felt she was flying in the air. Anny had
evaporated. So, after floating in the sky, she
fell down. Many drops fell down to the land,
other on trees, but Anny fell down in a small
pond and when she was in it, she got dark and
dirty with mud. She was in the Sahara there
she could discover many new things of the world.
28
In fact lions, zebras, giraffes and hippopotamus
were reflected in her. Time passed and Annys
pool was getting smaller and smaller because of
the hot temperature. But one evening a new
creature was reflected in the water Anny had
never seen it before it was dark and strange,
with a thin, black, skinned naked body. Then it
took the drop with his hands, to his mouth and
suddenly Anny saw darkness. Then she didnt
know she had died to save a child! Written by
