• Capoeira Team will meet this week on Tuesday
  Wednesday from 430 until 600pm
• in room 2106 with Mr. Russell

Lego Robotics

• Lego Robotics, a science technology adventure,
  meets Tuesday Thursday time 410 am 530 pm
• In room 1117 with Mr. Griffin
• Please make transportation arrangements to be
  picked up no later than 535 pm. (Do not rely on
  the activity bus.)

Science Olympiad

• Do you like science, math, building straw
  bridges or even hunting for amphibians that roam
  our Earth?  If so, then Science Olympiad is for
  you! 
• Come join Science Olympiad this Wednesday from
  415 to 550.  See Mrs. Patton in room 1311.

Sally Ride Science Festival

• Attention all 6, 7, and 8th grade girls!
• Sally Ride is hosting a festival for all young
  ladies interested in meeting female scientists,
  engineers and the 1st female astronaut to go into
  space (Ms. Sally Ride).
• There will also be a street fair that includes
  hands on activities, food and music! at Rice
  University on Saturday October 18
• If you are interested, speak with your science
  teachers and Ms. Patton in rm 1311.

Project Rap Star

• If youve got the skills to write lyrics and rap,
  you need to come to Project Rap Star on Wednesday
  until 550pm in Mr. Fletchers room 1302!

• Are you ready for your own school newspaper?
• Do you like interviewing or photography?
• Would love to write articles about whats going
  on at Bammel?
• All interested students (all grade levels) please
  meet at 415 515 (Thursday) with Mrs. Still
  Mrs. Lamb in Mrs. Lambs room 2702 get
  information and to pick up an application.
• Please make sure someone is able to pick you up
  at 515.

Announcement Club

• Do you have a good speaking voice? Are you a
  good reader? We need YOU to do announcements
  during Star Time!
• There is no meeting this week, but if you would
  like to join visit with Ms. Wyatt in room 2306.

Library Announcements

• The Library is open Tuesday, Wednesday and
  Thursday in the morning from 830 am 850 am
  and in the afternoon until 430 pm.
• The library is also open in the day for students
  to come in and check out books, all students must
  have their student ID badges to do so.

PTO T-shirt Design Contest

• PTO is sponsoring a T-shirt Design Contest! The
  winner will receive a really cool prize!! (TBA)
• RULES
• It should be on plain white 8½x11 paper with art
  writing done in black (no color entries will be
  considered).
• Include the slogan Got kid? Get PTO!
• Use your imagination!
• All entries are due by Oct. 20 with your name
  grade to the front desk or PTO box.
• For questions see Ms. Wyatt rm 2306 or Danette
  Haines, PTO president.

HOMECOMING

• The Bammel Middles homecoming game is on Oct
  28th against Claughton.
• We will be selling mums (chrysanthemums) and
  dance tickets during lunch this week. The mums
  are 7 and can be worn during school on the day
  of the game.

Homecoming Dance

• Homecoming Dance tickets are normally 15, BUT
  they are on sale this week only for 10! This
  cost includes one photograph and appetizers
  (food). The dance is on Saturday November 1 from
  600 to 900pm.
• The attire is semi-formal. That means young
  ladies can look beautiful in their lovely dresses
  and young men can look so fresh and so clean in
  their suit and ties!

Day

• Saturday, November 8th from 9am 2pm
• This is a FREE trip for the first 40 BMS 7th or
  8th grader students.  Sign up today in your grade
  level office.
• Students who attend will tour PVUs campus, meet
  cheerleaders, the Black Foxes, PVUs Marching
  Storm Band and see a brief Greek Step Show
