Volunteer TeamsFrom Interest to Completing a
Mission
  • Communication about the process on phone and in
    email average 6 exchanges before arrival.
  • Communication to hosting church, food team, site
    manager, project manager, supply deliver, and
    trailer manager.
  • Greeting the team, slide presentation, flood
    tour, project explanation, and meal time
    debriefing (730a and 600p).
  • Daily communication of needs and progress
    average team 3 times a day (between 8-4).
  • Follow-up with homeowner upon departure, moving
    supplies, straightening trailers, and prep for
    next team.
  • Tracking all needed data for reports, filing
    pictures, and follow-up evaluations PLUS return
    recruitment.
