Wetlands provide food and life saving materials
for a variety of living organisms. For
instance, a duck spends most of its day cooling
itself in the water. Also, Carbon Dioxide is
produced underground and oxygen is released into
the air. Simple sugars are a byproduct of this
process, and this becomes food for many
organisms.
