AZHealthInfo via a Web form. Local public
libraries and county health departments will work
together to supply and maintain local community
information.
AZHealthInfo.org is a Web-based resource designed
to facilitate access to public health and
consumer health information for public health
professionals and the citizens of Arizona.

AZHealthInfo.org points to MEDLINEplus (English
and Spanish versions) from the National Library
of Medicine for much of its consumer health
information.
It is being developed by the Arizona Turning
Point Project, funded by the Robert Wood Johnson
Foundation, and administered by the Maricopa
County Department of Public Health, in
collaboration with the Arizona Health Sciences
Library of the University of Arizona.
Other partners include the Arizona Local Health
Officers Association, the Arizona State Library,
Archives and Public Records, Arizona Department
of Health Services, and the Mel and Enid
Zuckerman Arizona College of Public Health.

Training workshops have been held in ALL areas
of Arizona to train county and tribal libraries
and health departments workshop content is
customized according to the wishes of each
library and health department attending.
