Healthy Native Communities Fellowship
  • HNCF is based on an action-learning model in
    which insights, skills, and new knowledge is
    shared and applied in real life situations
  • 81 fellows have graduated
  • 15 teams were select for FY 2007

  • Expand Just Move It campaign to get 1 million
    AI/AN moving
  • Partnership with Mothers Against Drunk Driving to
    address underage drinking and drunk driving.

Youth Projects
  • Support Regional Youth Summit to get youth engage
    in addressing issues
  • Summits were held in
  • Albuquerque, NM with over 500 youth and adults in
    FY 2005.
  • Eugene, Oregon (over 250 youth and adults) in FY
    2006.
  • Youth in Action training to reduce underage
    drinking
