• a. drugs with no active ingredient (No API)
• b. drugs with inadequate level of API
• c. drugs with a different chemical ingredient
• d. drugs with sub standard product quality due
  to significantly inferior production places.
• Currently, some of the counterfeit products are
  hard to differentiate without proper laboratory
  tests.
