ACCOMODATION
PRICES FOR HUNT
RIFLE HUNTERS
We suggest a rifle in the 270/30-06 class. Shots
will be made at 50 yards or less
Our hunts are 5 days in duration and longer hunts
can be arranged. Contact us for current prices.
We have been told we are the most reasonably
priced in all of Manitoba!
We set up comfortable tent camps at three
locations The Pas, Swan River, and Grand Rapids
Manitoba. We use large outfitting tents with
wooden floors and single bed mattresses. There
is an outdoor shower unit. We provide cooking
facilities and the hunter provides their own
groceries.
BOW HUNTERS
It is required by Manitoba law that a recurve or
long bow be not less than 40 lbs. Draw weight at
a 28 draw. A compound bow must not be set at
less than 40 lbs. Peak draw weight. Broadheads
must not be less than 78 inch in width.

HUNTING
Our professional baiting methods have resulted in
one of the highest success ratios anywhere.
Trophy bears of all color phases are taken each
year, adding to the excitement of the hunt. After
you have enjoyed your hunt, you can relax and
experience some of the best fishing Manitoba has
to offer. There are many accessible lakes within
our area and trout, walleye, and Northern pike
are plentiful. Fishing season opens the third
week in May.
Included are accommodation, services of
professional, licensed guides, tree stands or
ground blinds, baits, and transportation to and
from baits by truck and ATV.
BOOKING DATES
Spring bear season runs the third week in April
to mid June. Fall bear season runs the first
three weeks of September. However to use our
baits to the best advantage and provide the
greatest opportunity, Darrells Outfitting
operates only in the prime of the seasons. The
success rate is very high in both spring and
fall. Most hunters arrive on a Sunday and depart
on a Saturday.
RESERVATIONS
Reservations should be made well in advance. All
reservations require a 50 non-refundable
deposit. We cannot hold a reservation without a
deposit. For deposits, money orders are to be
made payable to Darrell Dushanek.
LICENSES
Licenses can be obtained from Darrells
outfitting and will cost 185 Canadian
GUIDES
One guide will be provided per three hunters
unless otherwise requested.
THINGS TO REMEMBER
Be prepared for warm or cold weather. Proper
clothing will only add to your hunt. Camo is
suitable for spring hunt, while fall hunting
regulations require a blaze orange hat plus 400
sq. inches of blaze orange. Binoculars, compass,
and flashlight are a good idea and dont forget
your camera!!!
