Marshmallow Towers
Situation There has been a disaster and all of
the local buildings have been destroyed,
crippling the local economy, which is based on
marshmallow production. You and your team have
been charged with designing an efficient building
design that can replace all of the lost
structures. Unfortunately, the main product
available is you guessed it marshmallows.

• Constraints
• Your tower must be at least 12 inches in height
• The marshmallows cannot be deconstructed in any
  manner (they have to stay in one piece).
  Marshmallow residue counts as a whole
  marshmallow!
• The tower must be free-standing (aka. No
  touching it once the time is called)
• The toothpicks may not be broken or split All
  toothpicks must be whole. If you need more
  toothpicks, ask.
• You only get to be judged once.

• Supplies
• Marshmallows (1000 each)
• Toothpicks (400 each)

Judging You will be judged on your efficiency, so
all of your supplies have a cost that will be
considered in the final judging. Your score will
be calculated by your score total cost to
build your tower height (inches)
