Animating Text Lines
  • Simple, quick method
  • Select the Slide to animate
  • Ribbon Animations
  • Select Custom Animation
  • Major text (level 1) plus minor bullet lines
  • Select the first bullet or the entire text block
  • Select Add Effect
  • Default entrance
  • Add Effect
  • Select an entrance effect
  • Works well when you are careful with your Main

Animating Text Lines
  • Line by Line or group of lines
  • Select the line of lines (any level)
  • Click on Add Effect
  • Click entrance
  • Select desired effect
  • Repeat the process for other lines
  • Lines not selected remain fixed

  • Select the target PowerPoint file
  • Set the cursor in the desired slide position
  • Paste
  • Hyperlink to the PowerPoint File
  • Used when you want all the slides anyway
  • The other file is a complete package
  • It is a subset of what your presentation is about

  • Open places.ppt
  • Select 3 places you like
  • Select first slide in slides pane
  • Hold control key
  • Select the next slide in the slides pane
  • One more time
  • Select your class PowerPoint we are working on
  • Click between slides 8 (this one) and the next
  • Paste

  • Make this Line a Hyperlink
  • Select the text Hyperlink in the line above
  • Right click for menu
  • Left click on Hyperlink
  • On left pane select Existing File or Web Page
  • Find your folder
  • Select PeopleYouKnow.pps ? that is right
  • Test it by
  • Click slide show on custom animation pane
    (lower right side)
  • Left click on Hyperlink
  • Watch
  • Escape to return
