Background and Purpose of BIP Survey
  • 11 year collaborative partnership of PSU and
    Oregon BIPs
  • Identify existing programs
  • Document changes in the number of programs and
    practices
  • Assess the impact of legislative standards
  • Provide resource for referrals
  • Increase communication among BIPs
  • Increase knowledge about BIPs in CCR

1. General Program Goals and Orientation
  • What is the philosophical and/or theoretical
    orientation of your program?

    for whom? (which populations, etc.)
  • Does your organization specialize in anything in
    particular? (i.e., dual diagnosis, etc.)
  • Does your organization work closely with local
    victim advocates?

    domestic violence counsel?
