  • Lone Tree District Serving the communities of
    Hampstead, Kingston, East Kingston, Atkinson,

Recommendation
  • The new Western District including the present
    Greater Lowell District is expanded to include
    Andover and Lawrence

  • The new Southern District including the present
    Aquila and North Shore Districts are combined
    minus the community of Ipswich

  • A new Northern District is created which
    includes all communities presently in the Lone
    Tree District and adding the communities of
    Ipswich, North Andover and Methuen

Recommendations
  • Each Unit Serving Executive will have options to
    receive an assignment in this new structure. The
    Long Range Plan is to establish two (2) Unit
    Serving Executives within each District

Recommendation
  • A Senior Unit Serving Executive within each
    District would hold primary responsibility to
    District Operations with traditional functional
    assignments and expanded fundraising strategies.
    The second Unit Serving Executive within the
    district would be a Special Position
    Professional with expertise in an area of
    concern to be determined by the Council Strategic
    Plan

  • Each geographic territory would be served by 2
    Unit Serving Executives, re-doubling efforts
    related to Membership, Finance, Unit Service and
    Volunteer Recruiting
  • Expanded efforts in ScoutReach young- adult
    programs such as Venturing and Exploring
  • Expanded Marketing Emphasis
  • Expanded LFL Growth at all age/grade levels

  • Greater emphasis on unit level support in areas
    related to program development, trained adult
    leadership, and community outreach
  • Stronger Chartered Partner Relationships
  • Enhanced District and Council wide programs to
    supplement unit programming
