What is a cyclone?

• A cyclone is a type of tornado.
• Cyclones happen when the tornado goes very fast.
• Cyclones can reach speeds up to 100 mph!

What time of year do cyclones occur?

• Cyclones occur mostly when there is a
  thunderstorm happening.
• When a thunderstorm gets hard, and there is a lot
  of wind, that is how a cyclone forms.
• There is usually a lot of lightning and thunder
  during cyclones.
• You can expect a cyclone during the summer.
