Accomplishments

• Built best observatory in Europe on island of
  Hven. It was called Uraniborg.
• Most accurate observations of his time. Created
  most accurate telescope. His observations were
  accurate within 4 minutes of arc. Found errors
  made by Ptolemy.
• Calculated planetary orbits and saw obscurity of
  moons orbit.
• Determined distance of a comet. Discovered a
  supernova.

His Moose

• He had a pet moose that he tamed. He loved the
  moose, but unfortunately it got a hold on some
  booze and got drunk. Then it stumbled down the
  stairs and broke its leg. Shortly after, it
  died, despite the best care.

His family and such

• Born to Otte Brahe and Beate Bille. His parents
  were close to the king. Tycho had a twin
  brother, but he died shortly after birth. His
  uncle took him away from his parents when he was
  young and acted as a foster family. His parents
  showed no resistance.
• Jorgen died of pneumonia after saving Frederick
  II from drowning.

His life and such

• Educated at Universities of Copenhagen, Leipzig,
  Rostock, Wittenberg, and Balis.
• Lost part of his nose in a duel with another
  student at Rostock. He had a plate made of gold
  and silver to cover the missing part.
• Died from holding his pee pee in too long at a
  banquet. He was trying to be polite to his
  guest. Mercury from his pee pee got in him and
  did bad things.
