What is a National Stock Number (NSN) ?
  • Normally awarded as a 1-year contract with
  • 4 additional 1-year options.
  • Price increases are calculated by evaluating
    changes in Producer Price Index (PPI).
  • Delivery is made on a zonal basis and prices
    normally vary by zone.

  • Purchase items using a government assigned NSN
  • GSA establishes competitively awarded national

Contract Holder
  • All NSN Requirements are advertised on Federal
    Business Opportunities or FedBizOpps at
    www.fbo.gov.
  • Integrated Workplace Acquisition Center (IWAC)
    publishes solicitation.
  • Vendor must submit completed solicitation and any
    other required documentation (i.e., commercial
    catalogs). All documentation MUST be submitted
    in duplicate.
  • In many cases, preaward samples are required as
    part of the offer. Instructions on preaward
    samples required and where to send them is
    outlined in solicitation.

Contract Holder
  • All required documents must be received by date
    and time outlined in solicitation.
  • Government representatives will review each offer
    and preaward samples (if required).
  • Offerors may be given a chance to correct
    deficiencies, however the Government reserves the
    right to award without negotiations.
