The website is a web portal which will serve as
an online source for information on Sustainable
Consumption and Production The site will serve
as a clearing house facility for resources on SCP
and will serves as an online information centre
where users of the site get information on
Sustainable Consumption and Production in the
Caribbean.
182 Types Of Users Access The Website- 1. General
Visitors Users who visit the site for
information but not have a have a valid User
ID and password. These visitors can see material
which have been tagged as anonymous by the
administrator but cannot see material which
has been assigned to a specific group or
category. These general visitors have the
ability to request a user account and
password, which will be emailed to them upon
verification and validation by the
administrator

User A logged user is user who has a valid
user id and password to enter the website.
The logged user has access to material and
features in the database to which the general
visitor does not have access to- - Submit
articles to the website - Participate in
forums - Submit information in blogs -
Upload files to the website - Edit content of
material posted on the website The systems
administrator will assign the logged user to a
group or will be assigned a specific role
when the user account is created. The
logged user only has access to the features and
material for which his role or particular
group assignment permits.
