Cream with Enfolin for the Skin around the Eye
Area
One of the main factors of premature aging of
skin is the influence of ultra-violet radiation
which causes a microcirculation disorder, mast
cell degranulation with the release of more than
30 biologically active substances, including
histamine and serotonin A microcirculation
disorder causes degenerative processes as a
consequence of which skin becomes dry, more
calloused, prone to wrinkle formation, epidermis
atrophy, hyperkeratosis appearance, degenerative
changes of collagen, damage to the corneal
barrier function.
Accumulation of an abundance of oxidants and
free radicals takes place. But activation of
lipid peroxidation under the action of free

factors of fibroblasts, keratinocytes,
endothelium and epidermis increases. Also, the
Anti-aging cream contains a regulatory peptide
Enfolin which helps to achieve more cream
effectiveness because of tissue microcirculation
improvement. Our laboratory conducted a
series of tests proving clearly the effectiveness
of the peptides used in the Anti-aging cream.
To assess the effectiveness a research of
peptides effect on the basis of two cell
cultures of human skin was conducted.
Keratinocyte culture
Keratinocytes were being cultivated during
twenty-four hours. The content of growth factors
and cytokines was measured by the method of the
enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. The next step
was adding of the Likokin peptide into the
keratinocyte culture in the concentration of 20
ng/ml 0,5 ml, and in 8 hours the content of
growth factors and cytokines was measured again.
A sharp increase in the content of the following
factors IL-1, IL-8, tumor necrosis factor-alpha
was observed.

Fibroblast Culture
The fibroblast culture was being cultivated
during twenty-four hours. The content of
cytokines and growth factors was measured before
adding of the peptide and in 8 hours after adding
it. The peptide was used in the concentration of
20 ng/ml 0,5 ml. In 8 hours after the peptide
adding to the fibroblast culture the following
factors IL-8, granulocytic-macrophage,
granulocytic and macrophage colony-stimulating
factors were measured (these factors were
measured by the method of the enzyme-linked
immunosorbent assay). A significant increase in
the content of the listed-above factors was
observed after adding the H-Revin peptide to the
culture.
