SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS The Annual Student
Research and Creative Activities Symposium has
become a highlight of the Spring Semester at
NEIU. This years Symposium is sponsored by the
Graduate College and will be held on Friday,
April 20th. We are now soliciting abstracts from
all undergraduate and graduate students. The
deadline for the submission of abstracts for the
Northeastern Illinois University 15th Annual
Student Research Creative Activities Symposium
is 400 PM on Thursday, March 1, 2007. We hope
you will encourage your students to submit
abstracts. Students will need to select a
faculty sponsor who will work with them on the
abstract and on the final preparation of the
project. Please provide those students who are
interested in presenting their work with the
enclosed Abstract Submission Form and description
of the required Abstract Format. Additional
copies of these forms will be available from the
following college representatives on the Steering
Committee

polished, thorough abstract. Sample abstracts
are available for viewing at www.neiu.edu/srcas.
In the last thirteen years we have enjoyed
excellent participation and attendance, we would
like to make the 15th Annual Symposium even more
successful. This can be achieved only with your
participation. If you have any questions, please
contact any of the above listed members of the
steering committee.
